Nirnaeth
Nirnaeth is a French black/death metal band whose name means “Tears” in Sindarin, a language from J.R.R. Tolkien’s mythology. Formed in 2002 by Mutill (guitar) and Malaria (bass), the band quickly developed a brutal and incisive sound, blending black metal’s cold atmosphere with death metal’s aggression. Vocalist Zigouille joined in 2003, solidifying the lineup.
